What are Findings
The term findings refer simply to the certain parts of the jewelry that connect in together. I'm still confuced on the ethymology of the word findings but since
the 19th century or probably even before that locks, clasps and anything related to jewelry parts were often refered to as findings.
Today the word findings automatically refers to the parts of the jewelry and is widely undertood all over the world as a technical term refering to the said components.
The history of findings started the same time people made beads locks were also made from carving bones or wood. You can see great examples of early form of finding from South America.
